Japanese actor Toru Uchikado moved to Los Angeles from Yokoaham  in 2011. Uchikado made his television debut in the epic 13-episode event series "Heroes Reborn(NBC)". He portrayed as a regular cast member, Ren Shimosawa throughout the season.
Uchikado also starred in the China-US coproduction film "Underdogs Rising" and he also made an appearance on "Westworld(HBO)".  Beyond the screen, his work extends to voice acting, where he lent his voice to characters in Netflix shows such as Castlevania, Yu Yu Hakusho, and Sakamoto Days. Uchikado also runs a YouTube channel with a subscriber base exceeding 500,000, where he focuses on topics related to swords, action, and Japanese culture.
